Follow-ups
A follow-up cadence that does not annoy buyers
How often to reach out after a first call, and what to say each time so every touch adds value.

Most deals are won in the follow-up, and most follow-ups are forgettable. The fix is not more touches. It is better ones.
The first week
- Same day. Send a recap of the call: their goals, your next step, and one question you still need answered.
- Day three. Share one resource that speaks to the problem they described. A case study beats a brochure.
Weeks two and three
Space touches four to five days apart. Each one should carry something new: a pricing option, a reference customer, or an answer to an objection they raised.
When they go quiet
Silence is information. After three unanswered touches, send a short note that makes it easy to say no:
Should I close this out for now, or is there a better time to pick it back up?
Buyers answer this message more than any other, because it respects their time.
Log everything
Every call, email, and note belongs on the deal. When a teammate picks up an account, the activity feed should tell the whole story in under a minute.
Put this into practice.
